Pre-Shipment Inspection
Pre-shipment inspections occur at the factory after the supplier finishes production but before all of the products are packaged in export cartons. During pre-shipment inspection, inspectors count the contents in the export cartons to confirm the accuracy of the production quantity. If products are missing, the inspector will inform the supplier and include their findings in the report. Quantity verifications allow the supplier to quickly adjust the quantity so as not to delay the planned shipping.
